Put some of the restless shades to rest 0/9 (Thuliasaur Island) Defeat 9 shades to the East
Obtain three Torn Tome Scraps 0/3 (Thuliasaur Island) These will be given on your cursor every 3 shade defeats
Deliver the Tome Scraps to Maetanrus 0/1 (Thuliasaur Island) Return to and Turn in the Scraps to Maetanrus (as indicated by on the map)

after 40+ shades I kind of figured I was bugged so started over, starting over it will update upon request with scraps you have on you
after killing 9 shades I ended up with 4 scraps but only 3 needed
so if you get kind of stuck just start over
